What if you could manage your rads cloud resources using plain English or any other language of your choice? Let's say asking things like, "Hey agent, list all my databases running on AWS that have active active enabled." That will be cool, right? Well, this is exactly what you can do today. Radis recently released a new MCP server for RAD's cloud. MCP or model context protocol is a standard that lets AI agents to interact with external tools. And with this server, you can manage your cloud resources using natural language. What this means is that you can now use your coding agents to interact with Red's cloud and manage your databases without having to call RAS APIs or to deal with Terraform code. In this video, I will show you how to easily get started with this MCP server using Docker in just three simple steps. All you need is Docker, an API key, and five minutes. The first step is to enable Ranch Cloud with the MCP tokit feature in Docker. The process is simple. You will browse for existing MCP servers and search for Red's Cloud. Then you are going to add that server. The second step is to provide the MCP server with the RADSC cloud API keys. You will need the API key and secret key from your RAD's cloud account. The third step is to enable your clients to access this MCP server. Docker make it really easy to identify which clients has been already installed in your machine. Select the one you intend to use and then click connect. With Codex, for example, you can check if this integration works with the command codeex mcp list. From this point on, you can start sending prompts to your agents to interact with your RADSCloud databases.
